1. 10 AM to 11 AM Tasks

​

a) Transfer laundry from Washers to Dryers

b) Drain Overnight Soaks

c) Make bundles if more are needed

d) Stock Shelves

e) Check & Restock W10

f) Refill cleaner and shower caddy bottles.

g) Start Citric Soaks

h) Check for Deliveries

i) Fold anything that is left from the previous day (Any unfolded towels need to be on the shelf by 10:45 AM)

2. 11 AM to 12 PM Tasks

​

a) Strip Wanderlust Rooms

b) Start the first loads (if there aren’t enough for full loads, wait for Shorebirds laundry—do not run smaller loads)

c) Make beds if any are mentioned in your scheduled notes

d) Check Citric soaks and drain them if it's good

e) Empty Dryers

3. 12 PM to 1 PM Tasks

​

a) Transfer laundry to dryers

b) Start 2nd load in the washers (or the first load if you were awaiting the linens from Shorebirds)

c) Wash Citric soaked linens

d) Sort any left over laundry in bins so that your next loads are ready when washers are empty

4. 1 PM to 2 PM Tasks

​

a) Check for any deliveries that may have come today

b) Empty the dryers & Clean the lint traps

c) Transfer the loads from Washer to Dryer

d) Start the next load in the washers

e) Sort any hairy linens (start them in washers if any washer is empty and there's no regular laundry to be done)

5. 2 PM to 4 PM Tasks

​

a) From this point, all the bins should be completely sorted or empty with the final loads in the washers or ready to wash

b) By 3 PM all of your non hairy linens should be in the washers

c) On slowr days all of your hairy linens should be in the washers by 3 PM

NOTE : PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOU ARE EMPTYING THE DRYERS AND TRANSFERRING FROM WAHSERS AS SOON AS THE WASHERS ARE DONE. ALLOWING THE LOAD TO SIT IN THE DRYERS WASTE TIME AND SLOWS DOWN THE FLOW OF THE LAUNDRY SCHEDULE

6. 4 PM & Beyond Tasks 

​

a) By 4 PM you should be down to the final loads in the dryers & it should be sooner than 4 PM if it's a slower day. If any hair linens need to be dryed, please transfer it to the dryers so that it's dry by 5 PM

b) Make Bundles

c) Fold Towels

d) Start voernight soaks and wash the basket with treated linens if it is full

e) Check W10, clean surfaces & floors as well as restock it

f) Clean employee bathroom

g) Clean lint traps

h) Sweep the floors and mop the laundry room

i) Start washing the cleaning rags if the basket is full

Lock up the laundry room & the sliding door before you leave
